Founded in November 2022 in Surat and Baroda by Aesha Shah and Riken Shah, Office Arsa is grounded in the belief that every space has its own unique story. The name—an abbreviation of Aesha and Riken Shah Architects—captures the collaborative foundation of the firm and its commitment to thoughtful, contextual design.

Each project begins with a dialogue—an exploration of the site, its climate, and the people it is designed to serve.The co-founders’ distinct approaches to design, each brings a distinct perspective. Despite differing approaches, their shared belief in contextualism fosters a balance that enriches the work, resulting in spaces that are layered, thoughtful, and deeply resonant.

Arsa’s approach avoids a predefined aesthetic, focusing instead on creating designs that reflect the individuality of each client and project. By blending modern techniques with subtle references to tradition, the work achieves a timeless quality that respects heritage while embracing contemporary needs.
